Kathy Ann Sloan, 75, of Davenport, died Thursday, September 11, 2025 at MercyOne-Genesis, Davenport surrounded by her family. A memorial service celebrating Kathy Ann’s life will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Adventure Christian Church, 6509 Northwest Blvd, Davenport. Private family burial will take place in Davenport Memorial Park on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Adventure Christian Church. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Kathy Ann was born on October 16, 1949 in Davenport, a daughter of William “Bill” and Bernice (Bargmann) Sloan. She was a graduate of Davenport West High School.

Kathy was a supervisor at the Mississippi Regional Blood Center until she had a stroke and had to medically retire in 1997.

Kathy Ann’s life revolved around her son, grandchildren and dog, (Bella) all of whom she loved more than anything in this world. She also enjoyed a cold Diet Pepsi, doing word search puzzles, playing euchre, and watching old westerns, especially Gunsmoke and Leave it to Beaver.

Those left to honor her memory are her son, Mark; grandchildren: Desira, Austin, Hunter, Carter; great-grandchildren: Avery, Emery, Casey; sister: JoAnn (Jerry) Pilgrim; a daughter-in-law, Randa Sloan, and friend, Steven Graham.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
