Justin Arnold

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Justin Arnold, 31, of Davenport, will be 5p.m. Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, downtown Davenport.  The family will greet friends Wednesday from 3 until 5 p.m. prior to the service.  Justin died unexpectedly Friday, August 6, 2021.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.

Justin Lucas Arnold was born on April 1, 1990 in Davenport, a son of Karie (Ferrel) and Gary Arnold.  He worked for MidAmerican Basement Systems waterproofing basements and had done extensive roofing jobs. He was always willing to help those in need of his help.

Justin loved his kids more than anything, was a great dad to Halaya and Ryker and worked hard to try to give them a life they could be proud of.  Justin’s charisma and laughter were contagious.  He made every joke he told funnier because of his laugh. He had a kind heart and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. Justin enjoyed the outdoors.

Those left to honor Justin’s memory are his daughter, Halaya and son, Ryker; his mother and dad: Karie and Ed Moss; his biological father, Gary Arnold, his sisters: Ashley (Nate) Burmeister and Jessica Arnold (Josh Croxton), his nieces and nephews, Kaylynn, Aydon, Sophie, Paige, and Dylan; grandparents: Roberta and Don Meiner and Gary and Sharon Arnold; aunts and uncles: Al (Trish) Ferrel, Johnnie (Brenda) Ferrel, Jeffrey (Lauri) Ferrel, Mike Arnold, Doug Arnold (Jessica Bridge); cousins: Matt (Melissa) Ferrel, Jonathan Ferrel, and Megan Prescott (Syngen Case), and many other family and friends.

He as preceded in death by his grandfather, Duane Ferrel.
