Judith Ann Fisher

Judith Ann Fisher, 82, of Davenport, IA passed away, Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held at The Knights of Columbus on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 4-7pm. She will be laid to rest with her husband and soulmate at the Arsenal in Rock Island.

Judi was born on March 12, 1940, daughter of Robert and Mamie (Tansel) Norville. She was united in marriage to James Bennett Fisher Jr. for 55 years. He preceded her in death on January 09, 2017. 

Those left to honor her memory include her only child/son, Jeffrey Bennett Fisher and his wife Rhonda Joan Fisher; her grandchildren Tara, Jordan, Taughnee, Jalen and Tiana; her great grandchildren Truth, Zhara, Beau, Hawlton and Wrenleigh; her siblings Shirley, Dennis, Sheilia and Star; many nieces, nephews and friends. 

She is preceded by death by her husband of 55 years, James Bennett Fisher Jr.; her parents Robert and Mamie Norville; her sister Jackie Bostic.

Judi enjoyed walks along the water, feeding the ducks, cooking and watching James fly fish. While Judi was employed at the DMV in Anchorage, Alaska she was chosen as the voice talent recording for the public when they called in for information. Being a military wife, Judi lived in many states as well as in England. Along her journey of life, she would pick up words here and there of different languages. Judi loved to shop and was always dressed to the nines, whether it was some type of animal print or her favorite color yellow. She enjoyed dogs as her companion throughout the years, Barkley being her last dog, who was named after Charles Barkley. She loved to watch basketball on TV, especially the San Antonio Spurs. You were never a stranger around Judi. She was quick to conversation and made people laugh. She loved to travel, enjoyed her family reunions back in IA and spending time with family. 

As Judi would always say, “the sun is shining to beat and band” and “Ciao Bella”… until we meet again!"
