Josette Lyons

November 17, 1938 — July 23, 2021

Funeral Services and a Mass of Christian Burial for Josette R. Lyons, 82, a resident of Davenport, will be 11am Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport.  Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens.  The family will greet friends at church Wednesday from 10am until the time of the service.  Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  Josette passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at Genesis Medical Center, East Rusholme, Davenport.  Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Josette Renee Aileen Duclaux was born November 17, 1938 in Paris France, a daughter of John and Blanche Duclaux.  Her stepfather was Larry Underwood.  Josette worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Rock Island Arsenal.    She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Those left to honor Josette’s memory include her children:  Renee (Brett Tidler) Lyons, Texas; Annette (Randy) Anderson, Florida; Teresa (Jesse) Moody and Mark Lyons, all of Davenport; 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lillian Owens.
