Joseph Tucker

Joseph A. “Tuck” Tucker passed peacefully in his sleep Sunday, February 14, 2021 at the age of 60. Joe was born to Wes and Rita Tucker on May 13, 1960. When he wasn’t working, Joe spent most of his time watching his daughter and grandkids playing sports, desperately rooting for the Miami Dolphins and Oakland A’s, celebrating his beloved Alabama Crimson Tide, and reminiscing with friends and family about the “Good Ole Days”. When Joe wasn’t picking a fight and somehow making a new friend, he will be remembered for his big heart and willingness to help his friends and family anyway he could. Joe left an indelible mark on everyone he met, and it really seemed like he knew everyone, and will be greatly missed.

Services to celebrate Joe’s life will be at Noon February 19, 2021 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, 614 N Main St, Davenport Iowa. His family will greet friends prior to services, Friday, from 10:00a.m. until 12:00 noon. The service will be livestreamed by visiting Joe's obituary at www.hmdfuneralhome.com.

In lieu of flowers we ask that donations be made to an Education Fund for his children.

He is survived by his wife, Tracie Tucker, son James (Aleena) Tucker, son Matt (Aly) Tucker, daughter Alicia (Adam) Northup, daughter Tori Tucker,  brother Bill (Vikki) Tucker, sister Cathy (Bob) Fier, brother Jeff (Patti) Tucker, 4 grandchildren Alec, Aiden, Ava, and Riley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wes and Rita Tucker.
