Jon B. Delleman, 69, of LeClaire, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at home with his family by his side. A celebration of his life will be held from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Friday May 1, 2026, at Davenport Country Club, Pleasant Valley, with a prayer service and a time to share at Noon. Memorials may be made to MercyOne Genesis Foundation, Handicapped Development Center, or Stead Family Children’s Hospital.
Jon Bernard Delleman was born October 15, 1956, in Davenport, to John and Darlene (Lefevre) Delleman. He graduated from Assumption High School and Blackhawk College. He was united in marriage to Stephanie Jasper on July 5, 1980, in Davenport.
Jon was the owner of Koesters Linoleum from 1989-2020. Although a carpenter by trade, he was a man of many talents, who could build, fix, or figure out just about anything. That skill and determination were perhaps best reflected in the tiny house he built in Lansing, Iowa, a place he cherished as his own little slice of heaven and his family to gather, celebrate and make memories together.
A true outdoorsman at heart, Jon found his greatest joy in nature. Whether casting a line on a quiet morning, heading out on a hunting trip, deep sea fishing in the Gulf, or spending an afternoon on the golf course, he was most at peace under an open sky. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing football.
He was an Iowa boy at heart but learned to love the sand and sea when he and Stephanie became snowbirds, wintering in Ft. Myers Beach, FL.
Jon was always the first to lend a hand. He gave freely of his time and talents, never hesitating to step up when someone needed help.
Survivors include his wife Stephanie; daughter Kristin (Vincent Chavez) Delleman of Naperville; Sean (Chelsea) Delleman of Waukee, IA; grandchildren Coen and Everett Chavez, and Hudson Delleman; mother Darlene Delleman of Davenport; sisters Linda (Steve) Fish, Christine (John Connell) Mathis-Connell all of Davenport; and brothers Tom (Jane) Delleman of Davenport, and Dan (Heidi) Delleman of LaGrange, IL.
He was preceded in death by his father.
