Johnny Coulter, Jr.

John H. “Johnny” Coulter, Jr., 56, of Muscatine, died Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Pearl Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  Keeping with his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Johnny was born on November 18, 1963 in Muscatine, a son of Gloria (Marquardt) and John H. Coulter, Sr.  He was united in marriage to Vicki Jean McKillip on January 17, 1985 in Muscatine.

Johnny worked for many years at Crossroads in Muscatine.  He loved to out to eat, especially breakfast at Hy-Vee and listening to Johnny Cash’s music.

He is survived by his wife Vicki, a sister, Debra (Wayne) Burkett, Davenport; nieces and nephew: Sheri Coulter, Rachelle Coulter-Castillo, Teresa Coulter, and Robert Garcia, and a brother-in-law, Willie Bowen, Jr.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Sandra Coulter Bowen, Jack and Gerri Coulter.
