John Vaughn, 75, of Bettendorf, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026.

John was born on June 20, 1950, in Texas. He was united in marriage to Vicki Martinez on November 12, 2011.

John had been riding motorcycles for many years. He loved his motorcycle trips to Clinton. He was a hard worker and was always keeping busy. He enjoyed woodworking, collecting eagles and drawing. You could always find John cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys from the couch on Sundays.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Vicki; children; Wendy Trefren, Travis Vaughn, Rusty Vaughn and Katie Shady; many grandchildren; and siblings.
