Joan Patricia Siefers, 94, passed away peacefully on May 20, 2026, at the Kahl Home, Davenport.

Funeral services and Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Siefers will be celebrated at 11:15 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at the Kahl Home, 6701 Jersey Ridge Rd, Davenport. Burial will be in the National Cemetery, Arsenal Island. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until Mass begins at the Kahl Home. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Joan was born on March 18, 1932, in Davenport, Iowa, to Joseph and Edice Kehoe as one of eight daughters.

Joan married Joseph Siefers on July 14, 1951, and they were together until his passing on May 19th, 2009.

Joan worked for several years as the manager of the research department with Per Mar Security in Davenport and later retired as vice president of the Quad Cities Telephone Answering Service and Physicians Exchange.

Throughout her life, Joan enjoyed gardening, traveling, and especially treasured the time spent with family on vacation and her granddaughter, Riley, in Las Vegas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, sisters: Charlotte Smith, Kaye Ovesen, Helen Christopher, Rosemary Siefers, Elinor Hild, Becky Siefers, and Elaine Dick, her daughter, Susan Siefers; and a daughter-in-law, Lane Siefers.

Those left to honor her memory include her sons, Joseph J. Siefers, Davenport, Iowa; Daniel (Cindy) Siefers, Maysville, Iowa; and David Siefers, Las Vegas, Nevada, and her granddaughter, Riley Siefers-Shurtz of Boise, Idaho.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kahl Home of Davenport, or to the family.
