Jeremy Scott Baumer, Jr., 20, a resident of Maysville, died Friday, August 26, 2022 as the result of a motorcycle accident.
Funeral services celebrating his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be at Maysville Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Scott County.
Jeremy was born September 28, 2001 in Davenport, the son of Jeremy Baumer and Sheri Turner. Jeremy recently began working at Deere & Company Davenport Works.
Fishing and riding his motorcycles were Jeremy’s passions. He also worked with his family at J&M Displays, assisting with fireworks at various events.
Those left to honor his memory include his father, Jeremy (Jami) Baumer of Davenport; sister, Katelynn Baumer of Maysville; step siblings: Daxton Moore, Dillynn Moore, Dallis Moore, all of Davenport; grandpa, Bruce Baumer of Maysville; uncle, Steve (Kathleen) Baumer of Onslow, Iowa; a cousin: Theodore Baumer; great-grandma, Margaret Boone of Davenport; mother, Sheri Turner of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; and half-brothers, Nathan Rivera and Jamie Walsh.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Mary Baumer; and great-grandfather, Ted Boone.
