Jeannie Marie Miller (GiGi)

Jeannie Marie Miller (GiGi), 54, of Davenport, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at her home in Clinton that she was in the process of renovating. Cremation has been accorded and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, August 1st from 11am-2pm, at Gunchie’s Bar and Grill, 2905 Telegraph Rd, Davenport.

Jeannie was born January 7, 1972, in Davenport to Sheryl “Sherry” Wacker. She was united in marriage to Michael “Mike” Miller on December 5, 1998, in Davenport.

Some people fill a room with their laughter. Others fill it with their wisdom. Jeannie somehow managed to do both.

She was the kind of woman everyone seemed to gravitate toward. If you needed advice, you called her. If you needed someone to tell you the truth, even when it wasn't what you wanted to hear, you called her. She was smart, quick-witted, sassy, and never afraid to speak her mind, but underneath that feisty personality was one of the biggest hearts you could ever hope to know.

She loved seeing new places, especially if it meant packing a suitcase and setting sail on a cruise ship. She also loved the excitement of trying her luck at the casino, a good book, an ice-cold Mountain Dew, and scrolling through TikTok Shop, always finding something she just had to have.

As much as she enjoyed traveling and life's little adventures, nothing ever meant more to her than her family. They were the reason behind everything she did, the people she loved most, and the ones she never stopped worrying about.

And then there was Thea Jean.

The moment she became "GiGi," a whole new chapter of her life began. Her granddaughter wasn't just someone she loved, she was her whole world. Anyone who knew her knew that if the conversation turned to Thea, her face lit up in a way that said everything. She adored every picture, every story, every hug, every milestone. Being GiGi wasn't simply a title; it was the greatest joy of her life. The love they shared was effortless, unconditional, and impossible to miss.

While her family wishes they had just one more trip to take together, one more conversation to share, or one more chance to hear her laugh, they find comfort in knowing that the love she gave so freely never disappears. It lives on in the stories they tell, in the lessons she passed along, in the memories that still bring smiles through tears, and especially in the heart of her beloved granddaughter, who will always know just how deeply her GiGi loved her.

Those left to share her memory include her husband Mike; son Logan (Amy) Allen; daughter Morgan (Shane Boever) Allen; granddaughter Thea Jean Boever; mother Sherry (William) Berglund, all of Davenport; sister Joannie Worster; nephew Aaren Worster both of Huntsville, AL; and her beloved cats “Fire” and “Ice”.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ronald and Rosemary Wacker.
