James Wiese

James Wiese, 81, of Davenport, died Monday, February 24, 2020 at Southeast Iowa Behavior Health Care Center in Keokuk.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, 2020 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery.

James was born December 19, 1938 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Erwin and Bernice (Cristy) Wiese. He was a graduate of Bettendorf High School and lettered in basketball and baseball. James attended Black Hawk and Scott Community Colleges.

James worked at Caterpillar Tractor Company, Swan Engineering and Machine Company, International Harvester Company as a tool and died maker.

Those left to honor his memory include his son, Stephen.
