James Sanders

James Allen Sanders, 71, of Davenport, passed away Monday, December 9, 2024 at MercyOne Davenport.

 Per his wishes cremation rites have been accorded.

 James was born on July 7, 1953. He was united in marriage to Deborah Walker. She preceded him in death. 

 James loved to help others and would give you the shirt off of his back if needed. He was a people person and loved animals, especially cats. He was an avid tv watcher and enjoyed watching M.A.S.H. He also loved being outdoors, fishing and chopping wood. He was always moving and had something to keep him busy. He will be deeply missed.

 Those left to honor his memory include his children, Cynthia (Richard Treanton) Sanders and Jeannifer (Manuel) Perez; grandchildren Elizabeth and Richard Treanton; brothers Richard and Robert Sanders; sister Susan Pollock; and many nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by his mother LaVonne Schultz, father Earl Smith, step-father Robert Sanders, daughter Tammy Sanders and brother Harold Sanders.
