Gregory J. Doughty

Gregory J. Doughty, age 64, of Davenport, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023 at his home. According to his wishes, there will be no formal services at this time, but a celebration of his life will be held at his favorite “hangout” which will be announced. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Greg was born on September 22, 1958 in Davenport to Robert and Pauline (Russell) Doughty. He worked for Sears Manufacturing until retirement. He enjoyed being around friends, playing pool and darts. He loved the outdoors, but his greatest joy was his family and being around them.

Survivors include his wife, Brenda Anderson; daughter, Christina Anderson; son, Richard Anderson; 2 grandsons; 1 great-grandson; sisters, Noel (John) Sommerfield, and Julie Bouldin; and a nephew, Jamie Doughty.

In addition to his parents, Greg was preceded in death by brothers, Jack, Bob, and Rick.
