Gerry Lee Lueders

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Gerry Lueders, 71, of Moline, will be held at Noon on Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.  Private inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Davenport.  Memorials may be made to King’s Harvest Pet Rescue.


Ms. Lueders passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House, Bettendorf.


Gerry Lee Scott was born September 1, 1952, in Davenport, a daughter of Gerald and Frances (Schumacher) Scott.


Prior to her retirement in 2018, she had worked as a forklift operator for Ralston Purina/ Nestle, Davenport, for thirty years.


She loved animals (especially cats), riding Harley Davidsons, Rock n Roll, and playing Farmville.


Survivors include her children Karen (John) Payne, Canfield, OH, Larry (Jennifer) Lueders, Oquawka, IL; grandchildren Johnathan Lueders, Ashley Lueders, Symone Scott, Isaiah Payne, Xzavier Payne; great grandchildren Lila, Nae’ella, Noa, Emmarie; brother Gerald (Angela) Scott, Davenport; sisters Nancy (Michael) Oetzel, Davenport, Sherry (Julio) Grandgerad, Manhattan, NY; and her cat “Opie”.


She was preceded in death by her grandson Terrell Scott, brother John Scott, parents, and best friend Becky Cecil.
