Geraldine "Jeri" Van Blaricome

Jeri E. Van Blaricome, 78, of Davenport, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Genesis Medical Center. 

A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, December 15, 2023 at Oakdale Memorial Gardens.  Memorials may be made to Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation at (crohnscolitisfoundation.org) Burial will be in Oakdale Memorial Gardens. 

Geraldine “Jeri” E. Cisler was born on September 30, 1945 in Cedar Rapids, a daughter of Frank and Elma (Bukacek) Cisler.  She married Larry Kendall and later divorced.  She then married her soulmate Jamey Van Blaricome on July 8, 1991. 

Jeri worked at Ralston Purina for many years and was also a proud business owner.  She enjoyed gardening and being outside.  She was also very artistic and found joy in arts and crafts.  Jeri loved going on vacation with The Rockies in Colorado being her favorite adventure. 

Those left to honor her memory include her husband Jamey; children Scott (Kimberly) Kendall and Cheyenne (Chadwick) Miller; grandchildren Conner, Grace, Mary, Samantha and Cooper Kendall; and sister Joanne Schadt.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two infant children Todd and Sharon and sister Jacqueline Young.
