Geraldine Beckley

Geraldine “Geri” Ann Beckley, 79, of Davenport, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024 at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at St. Anthony Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm, on Friday, December 6, 2024 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family. 

Geri was born on September 19, 1945 in Davenport, daughter of Gerald and Kittie (Hugunin) Quandt. She was united in marriage to Robert “Monty” Beckley on September 30, 1995 in Davenport. He preceded her in death on August 16, 2016.

Geri enjoyed camping, crossword puzzles, music, dancing, and old western movies. She was known for her holiday jewelry and love of getting her nails done. She enjoyed a good dirty joke and a bloody mary. She was a trivia buff and found joy in watching Jeopardy. Above all she cherished her family and will be deeply missed.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Diane Beckley, Dawn (Bryant) Ward and Robert “Jody” Beckley; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and siblings Kittie Mooney, Wallace and Gary Quandt.
