Elizabeth "Becky" Dolan

Elizabeth “Becky” Ann Dolan, 60, of Princeton, passed away Saturday, September 24, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm, on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery.  Memorial may be made to her family.

Becky was born on May 8, 1962 in Davenport, Iowa, daughter of James Rossmiller and Ruth Gimm.  She was united in marriage to Robert “Bob” Dolan in 1980 at Our Lady of The River Catholic Church.  He preceded her in death August 4, 2022.

Becky was a very sweet, caring and loving person.  She was always taking care of others and was known to show up with food if you were sick.  Some were lucky enough to find themselves with a May basket, special note or a homemade card from her. Becky was very crafty and was great at sketching.  She loved to bake and make homemade meals for her family.  She found joy in watching the birds at her birdfeeder, tending her flowers and decoration for the holidays, especially Halloween. Above all, her family was the most important thing to her.  She was the best mother and grandmother that anyone could have. 

Those left to honor her memory include children Jennifer (Charlie) Cornett, Robert “Bobby” (Terrie) Dolan, Jr. and James Dolan; grandchildren Charles Cornett, Isabella Cornett, Liliana Jo, Aurora Dolan and Grant Dolan; mother, Ruth (Joe) Goin; siblings, Judy (Bill Hitchcock) Carstens, Janet Rossmiller-Dolan, Terry (Mary Kay) Rossmiller, Lisa Tutton, and Scott Rossmiller; and stepsisters, Brandi (Chris) Repass and Wendy (Jason) Shipley.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Patrick Rossmiller and husband, Robert (Bob) Dolan.
