Eileen Erin Entler was born June 12, 1957, in Davenport, to Glenn Robert and Doris May “Dorie” (Dunlap) Entler.

Eileen retired in 2023 from United Parcel Service after 45 years of service. At one time she knew every zip code in the United States!

She was a woman of extraordinary compassion, always thinking of others before herself. Her generous heart extended far beyond her family and friends, as she faithfully supported numerous charitable organizations and causes throughout her life. She believed in making the world a better place and quietly did so through countless acts of kindness and giving.

A gifted and accomplished artist, she shared her talents with the community in many ways. Her creativity helped bring productions to life through her work painting backdrop scenery for the Quad City Music Guild and Rae Dance Studio. Whether holding a paintbrush, creating artwork, or lending her talents behind the scenes, she found joy in bringing beauty to the world around her.

Her love for animals was one of the defining features of her life. She had a special affection for cats, dogs, and horses, and she never missed an opportunity to care for and advocate for the animals she cherished. They brought her immeasurable happiness and companionship throughout the years.

Music and performance were also central to her life. She possessed a beautiful soprano singing voice that delighted audiences and loved ones alike. She was an accomplished bass guitarist whose passion for music brought energy and joy wherever she played. Whether singing, performing, or simply sharing music with friends and family, she embraced every opportunity to celebrate life through song.

One of her greatest joys was dancing. Alongside her beloved sister, Lissa, the pair became affectionately known as the "Boogie Sisters," a nickname that perfectly captured their enthusiasm, laughter, and love of the dance floor. Together, they created countless memories, sharing a special bond that was evident to all who knew them.

She also cherished traveling with Lissa, especially their beloved trips to Disney World. Those adventures were filled with laughter, excitement, and the simple joy of being together and creating memories.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sister Alison “Lissa” Entler and nephew Tyler Entler of Davenport.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Janis Paris, and brother Jay Entler.
