Duane A. Riedell, 72, of Davenport, passed away, Wednesday, August 5, 2026 at Good Samaritan Society, Davenport.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 12, 2026 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 pm on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.

Duane was born on January 22, 1954 in Janesville, Wisconsin, son of Joseph and Dorothy (Dickinson) Riedell. He was united in marriage to Audry Peach on May 20, 1980. She preceded him in death on July 10, 2025.

Duane worked in retail for many years with Montgomery Wards, K-Mart and later spent over 17 years with Wal-Mart. In his younger years he enjoyed bowling and riding motorcycles. Most recently he enjoyed reading and watching TV, especially football. He was an avid Green Bay Packers Fan! He also enjoyed conversing with his family and friends. Above all he loved his family, especially his grandchildren and cherished the time spent with them. He will be deeply missed.

Those left to honor his memory include his children Mathew (Jamie) Riedell of Little York, IL, Stacy (Jacob) Linz, Tracy (Sandeep Misri) Riedell, all of Davenport, Mindy Roemer of Moline, and Brad Riedell of Davenport; grandchildren Aliah, Alex, Miguel, Adrianna, Jayda, Karianne, Suraj, Tallon, and Vaughn; and great grandchildren Brayden, Amaya, Reagan, Diego, Owen and Benjamin.
