Dorothy Lindsey

Dorothy “Dot Dot” M. Lindsey, 71, of Davenport, IA passed away at her home February 1st, 2021, following an extended illness.

Dorothy was born August 26th, 1949 in Davenport, IA. Daughter of Junior and Ruth (Long) Minick.  She married Donald “Rebel” Lindsey in 1985 in Davenport, IA.  She was employed at the Rock Island Arsenal as a computer operator for 26 years.  She enjoyed line dancing and stock car racing #56 Gary Webb.

Survivors include: Daughter Tonya Minick Davenport, IA, Grandchildren: Scott (Jordan) Tuman, New Hampshire and Brandon (Ashleigh) Minick, Norway, IA; Great-Grandchildren: Austin Tuman, Gunner and Spencer Minick; Sister, Patricia Staggs of Ellisville, IL and special friend Cindy Gibson.

She was preceded in death by her husband (2018), a great-granddaughter, Audrey Rae Tuman, her parents, a brother, Randy Minick, and half-sisters, Janie Hamilton and Lynda McConnell.
