Donna Ann Ray

Donna Ann Ray, 92, of Davenport, Iowa, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.

She was born in Davenport, Iowa to Fannie and Frank Langfeldt and graduated from Davenport High School in 1951. She married Ralph Ray in 1953 and together they raised two sons. She worked as an office manager at several prominent businesses and eventually retired from Millage Construction Company where she had worked for many years.

She is survived by her son, Dave (Debbie), her grandchildren, David II, of Indianapolis, IN, Heidi (Chris) Malone, Laura (Jimmy) Light, of Pittsboro, IN, Robert (Valerie) of Eldridge, IA and Cassie (Chris) Joens, of DeWitt, IA; great grandchildren, Ryder, Cali, Drake, Alliana, Emmett, and Layne; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 1994 and her son, Mark, in 2025.

Donna, along with her husband, Ralph, supported their sons and grandchildren in their many auto racing endeavors throughout the years. She also enjoyed the companionship of many family dogs, especially her pug, Sammie. She loved playing bingo and was active in her church, often singing in the choir.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 9th beginning at 11:00 AM at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 3834 Rockingham Road, Davenport, Iowa. Burial will be at the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery after a luncheon at the church.

Visitation will be on Thursday, January 8th from 4:00 PM-6:00 PM at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport, Iowa with additional visitation at 10:00 AM Friday at the church.
