Debra Jean Heald

October 2, 1954 — May 5, 2024

Davenport, Iowa

Debra Jean Heald, age 69, of Davenport, passed away on May 5, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her family. Per Debbie’s wishes, there will be no service. We will instead have a celebration of her life at 1:00 pm on July 13th, 2024, at Duck Creek Lodge. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport assisted the family with arrangements.

Debra was born on October 2, 1954, in Davenport to Richard and Shirley (York) Heald. She owned and operated her own painting business for many years.

Survivors include her children, Shane (Stefanie) Hoaglin, Brandon (Stephanie) Hoaglin, Jerad (Amy) Hoaglin, and Jason Willey; 8 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; siblings, Sam (Jo) Heald, Kim Boughner, Bruce (Kim) Heald, Shane (Juanita) Heald, Barb Heald, Brock Heald, Brad Heald, and a host of nieces and nephews.

We couldn’t have done this without the help and support of our very special dear friend, Melissa Larson, and our Dad, Denny Hoaglin. They made it so that Debbie could be in the comfort of her own home.

Debra played a huge role in the upbringing of her grandchildren, and was an amazing mother to her four sons.  She loved nothing more than being with her family, and friends, she loved to cook, do puzzles, and be with her Cooper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Chris Heald, Cheryl Heald, and Carolyn Heald.
