Debby Aldridge

Debby Lynn Aldridge, 66, of Davenport, died Friday, July 18, 2025 in Davenport surrounded by her family.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, August 9, 2025 at New Life Baptist Church, Davenport. Keeping with her wishes, cremation rites have taken place. Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Memorials may be made to the family.

Debby was born on November 24, 1958 in Davenport, a daughter of Junior and Shirley (Love) Aldridge. She worked in housekeeping for 27 years at the former Fejervary Nursing Home/St. Mary’s Healthcare. She retired in 2020.

Debby cherished time spent with her family and her fourth “child”, her canine companion, Toby. She had a great sense of humor with a quick wit. Debby also was a woman of great faith and a longtime member of New Life Baptist. She enjoyed going to yard sales and thrift shopping, always looking for her next treasure and had an affinity for purses.

Those left to honor her memory are her children: Anna (Charles) Taylor, Davenport, Angela (Doug Buker) Peek, Davenport, Richard (Lyndsay Chase) Peek, Davenport; grandchildren: Mykel, Elizabeth (Queyona), Johnna, Richard, Jerzy, Liam, Skylynn; great-grandchildren: Jossiah, Nattie Reighn, Jacob “Little Professor”, Mazlyn, Kaius; siblings: Janelle Fields, Milton, Iowa, Retta (Joe) Richter, Davenport, Tom (Bev) Hines, New Mexico, Floyd Hines, New Mexico, Rex Hines, Oklahoma, and Allen (Theresa) Aldridge, Davenport; a sister-in-law, Sandra Crockett, Michigan; many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Barbara Wilson, Darrell Aldridge, William Wright, Larry Crockett, and Phil Crockett.
