David Michael Christner

David Michael Christner, 69, of Davenport, passed away, Saturday, April 1, 2023.

Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30pm, Friday, April 21, 2023 at Jesus Mission Church, 513 Mulberry Avenue, Muscatine, Iowa. Memorials may be made to the family.

David was born on January 16, 1954 in Iowa, son of Basil and Beverly (Wise) Christner.  He was united in marriage to Maritta.  She preceded him in death.

David had a strong faith and loved going to church.  He was a Sunday School Teacher at Jesus Mission, Muscatine.  He also gave a bible study at Bettendorf Health Care.  David had also attended Faith Gospel Church, Davenport for many years.

Those left to honor his memory include his sister Sandy (Tim) Swanson; 10 nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his siblings.
