Curtis Lee Walsh

Curtis “Curt” Lee Walsh, 67, of Princeton, Iowa, passed away on March 9, 2026, at MercyOne Genesis Medical Center, Davenport. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no formal services held.

Curt was born on October 13, 1958, in Davenport, a son of George E. Sr. and Leila (Long) Walsh. He graduated from Pleasant Valley High School and later worked in construction.

He had earned the “stubborn” award from his sister. He would do anything for the people he cared for. He used to help his mother host “Ladies Night” with his aunts, to make sure they were taken care of and make them drinks and coffee. Curt was an animal lover and adopted several dogs.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sister, Kathryn Petty; brother, Mark Walsh; his faithful K-9 companion, Bella; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a few aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George Walsh Jr; paternal and maternal grandparents; and brother-in-law, Kevin Petty.
