Corey Ray

Corey Ray (Bauman), 41 of Davenport, IA, passed away at St Luke’s Hospital, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, June 15th, 2025.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home.

She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, especially in the kitchen with her daughters before family get togethers and holidays. She always loved more than anything to dance, play guitar and sing her heart out like no one was watching. She looked forward to her annual canoe and camping trips with her family and husband. Corey was a very lively and free willed spirit even though times were hard she loved those close to her very deeply. She touched so many lives.

Those left to mourn her include but not limited to father, Alfred Bauman (opa), daughters Deziray Lawson, Ariyana Lawson, and Alexis Lawson, grandson Mazziah Cordova, siblings Tea Willis, Freddy Willis, Zachary Willis, Ambi Snook, Kyle Snook, Joshua Snook, Danielle Ragusi, Alesha Brewster, Joseph Brewster, Cody Waller and Jeffy Waller, nephew/godson Jeremiah Page, husband Benjamin Ray, many dearly loved nieces, nephews and cousins and Ronald (Betty) Willis (bio dad).

She was preceded in death by her Mother Carol Bauman (oma), sister Michael Willis (Brewster), and Morgan Snook (bio mom).
