Services for Clarissa "Cris" Ann Worley, 84, of Davenport, were held Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at Halligan McCabe DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial took place in the National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Cris passed on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 at Senior Star Elmore Place, Davenport.
Clarissa Ann Worley was born on July 17, 1941 in Davenport, Iowa, a cherished daughter of John and Agnes (Browne) Pohlmann. Cris was united in marriage to Jack Worley on August 20, 1977 in Davenport.
She spent a meaningful chapter of her life as the Branch Manager of Engineered Steel Products, a role she fulfilled with dedication for 13 years before her retirement in 2000.
A member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Cris was known for her kind and welcoming demeanor. Her innate ability to make others feel at ease and her delightful sense of humor won her the hearts of many, including the hospice nurses who cherished their time with her.
Cris is survived by her children, Lynet Cobler, Tammy Otto, Jeffrey Otto, and Mark Otto (Tamara Adolf); grandchildren Ashley Otto (Scott Seidl), Laramie (Jason) Krull, and Josh (Morgan) Cobler; and great-grandchildren Tristen, Mazikeen, Everly, Sofia, and Rayla.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack, and her parents, John and Agnes Pohlmann. Cris’s legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will continue to resonate in the lives of those she touched throughout her journey.
