Cira Salas

Cira Salas, 64, of Davenport, passed away, Tuesday, August 20, 2023 at her home. 

Per her wishes cremation rites have been accorded.

Cira was born on August 8, 1958 in McAllen, Texas, daughter of Pablo and Adelaida (Cantu) Salas.

Cira enjoyed the casino, camping and visiting her sisters down south.  She was a loving person, wonderful grandmother, and was a second mom to many.  Above all, she loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.

Those left to honor her memory include her children; Herminia Vela, Leonel Vela, and Anna Vela; grandchildren Michael, Natalia, Yvette, Serena, Cecilia, Michael, Tristan and Leticia; great grandchildren Niea, Nadya, Romilio, Mila, Meilani and one on the way Nylah; and six sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and son Michael Paul Vela.
