Christi Stanton

Funeral services to celebrate the life of Christi A. “Nappy” Stanton Creviston, 48, of Clinton, formerly of Davenport, will be 1 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022 at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport.  The family will greet friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Friday at the funeral home.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Christi died unexpectedly Monday, March 7, 2022.

Christi Stanton was born on September 29, 1973 in Minot, North Dakota, a daughter of Gerald S. Stanton.  Christi worked for ServPro doing commercial and residential restoration in Clinton for the past year and previously in the Quad Cities.

Nappy was a “cheesehead”, an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers.  She was a tomboy, loving to fish with her son, Sammy, mushroom hunt and spend time with her grandson, Braylen and her fur baby Molly Moo.

Those left to honor Christi’s memory are her children: Kayla (Derek Hammond) Creviston, and Sammy Cheatheam, all of Davenport; grandson, Braylen; siblings: Billie Stanton, North Dakota, Lisa Stanton, Davenport and J.R. (Natalie) Scott, Bettendorf; nephews: Zachary and Hendrix; her  best friend, Kelly Garrow, her work family, and the extended Stanton family.

She was preceded in death by her father.
