Carla Rose Knoeferl

Carla R. Knoeferl, 59, of Davenport, passed away, September 14, 2025, at her home.

Funeral services to celebrate Carla’s life will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family of Carla Knoeferl.

Carla Rose Knoeferl was born on December 9, 1965, in Rock Island, Illinois, a daughter of Carl and Rosalind (Kludy) Knoeferl.

Carla worked in the janitorial industry and took pride in her work.

Carla's proudest accomplishments included being a devoted mother and grandmother. She poured her love and energy into raising her son, and her commitment as a single mother was a testament to her strength and resilience. Carla's nurturing spirit and unwavering support were the cornerstones of their relationship, and her love for Gary was a guiding force in both of their lives. Carla always made it a priority to be there for the people she cherished, offering support, comfort, and a listening ear whenever they needed her.

Those left to honor her memory is her only son, Gary (Lori Perrigo) Knoeferl; grandchildren, Lillith Knoeferl (24), Avalei Knoeferl (8), Shara Knoeferl (22 months); siblings, Andy Knoeferl, Howard (Sharon) Meyers, and Terry Sloan; and a godson, Nathan Norman

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Alice Knoeferl, and her brother-in-law, John Sloan.
