Brittany Rose Manley was born on February 20, 1990, in Davenport, the daughter of Joseph and Joyce (Dagley) Manley. After graduating from Davenport Central High School in 2009, she attended Capri College and graduated in 2018. Brittany was united in marriage to David Posey on February 8, 2023, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Brittany spent many years serving in downtown Davenport, working at Mojo’s, Redstone Room/RME, and managing Devon’s Complaint Department.

Brittany was a fierce soul. She enjoyed being social, making her friends laugh, having a huge heart, and would give the shirt from her back to help anyone in need. She cared very deeply about the people around her, and you could often find her “momma bearing” people. Her charisma and vibe were like no other. She wasn’t like anyone else and certainly couldn’t be compared to anyone else. Brittany created her own fashion statements and style and wasn’t afraid to tell you to fuck off if you had something negative to say.

Brittany not only loved the people in her life but also had a big spot in her heart for animals. She adored her dog, Porkchop, and her cat, Odin. She did not go anywhere without Porkchop.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, David Posey; mother, Joyce Manley; father, Joseph Manley; brothers, Joseph “Broey" Manley, Michael Manley, Shawn Manley, Shad Manley; sister-in-law, Korena Ramirez; nieces, Jazmine and Izabella; nephew, Jaxson; Grandma Allen, beloved Aunts, Sue, Rosie and Dorothy; Uncle Chris; several cousins from California, Wisconsin, Texas, and North Carolina; and all of the Quad City Punks.

She was preceded in death by her Grandma Martha, Grandma Shirley, Grandpa Tom, Grandpa Howard, Grandpa Russ, Grandpa Posey, Aunt Denise, Uncle John, close family friends, Joe Vargas, Larry and Debbie Wakefield, and faithful companion, Otto.
