Bonnie Woods

Bonnie Helen Woods, 66, a resident of Bettendorf, went to glory on Sunday, December 5, 2021.

Private family services will be held. She will be laid to rest at Rock Island National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family at P.O. Box 64, Bettendorf, Iowa 52722.

Bonnie was born June 15, 1955 in Davenport, the daughter of Jimmy Payne and Gloria Jackson. She married Moses Woods, Sr., February 27, 1978 in Davenport. He preceded her in death, July 16, 2018.

Bonnie was a woman of faith and believed in YAH and YAHshua to the glory of YAH with all of her heart. She loved people of all backgrounds. Bonnie was an incredible woman who cherished her family deeply.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Jabari (Kimberly) Woods of Davenport, Afreya (Johnny) King of Rock Island, Kamilah (Marlon) Williams of Galesburg, Illinois and Akeem Woods of Bettendorf, and Baraka Woods-Clark, Indiana; siblings, Debbie, Vicki, Cherena, LaRue, and Tahirah; as well as numerous loving grandchildren, great grandchildren, extended family, and a host of great friends.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
