Barb Janine Quinn was born October 27, 1961, in Davenport, to Vera Mae (Langfeldt) Quinn.
Prior to becoming disabled she had been a customer service representative for Mid-American Energy.
From a young age, Barb had a deep, natural bond with animals, especially dogs and horses. She found peace in the quiet moments brushing her horses in the barn and joy in every wagging tail that greeted her at the door. She loved spending her days outdoors, tending to her horses, taking long walks with her dogs, and enjoying the simple beauty of nature.
She believed every animal deserved love and kindness, often adopting rescues and offering them a home where they could feel safe and cherished. Her gentle spirit and patient care were felt not only by her animals but by everyone who knew her.
Survivors include her sisters Kim Quinn, Jean Johnson, and Anne Quinn; brother Joe Quinn, all of Davenport; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, niece Crystal Newman, grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.
