Audry Riedell, 78, of Davenport, passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025, at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home Davenport. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be from 4-6 pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.
Audry Ann Peach was born June 20, 1947, in Walnut, IL to Lester and Alice (Saathoff) Peach. She grew up on the family farm where she participated in 4H and raised cattle. She was united in marriage to Duane Riedell on May 20, 1980 in Tampico, IL.
Prior to her retirement she worked in retail for Walmart on Elmore Ave in Davenport
Audry found joy in the simple routines of each day, especially watching Wheel of Fortune and The Incredible Dr. Pol. She loved solving the puzzles before the contestants on TV, often with a smile and a laugh when a tricky word was guessed. Audry also rarely missed an episode of Dr. Pol, admiring the care and kindness shown to animals.
When not catching up on favorite shows, Audry enjoyed socializing with her neighbors and catching up with her family.
Those left to honor her memory include her husband Duane; children Mathew (Jamie) Riedell of Little York, IL, Stacy (Jacob) Linz, Tracy (Sandeep Misri) Riedell, all of Davenport, Mindy Roemer of Moline, and Brad Riedell of Davenport; grandchildren Aliah, Alex, Miguel, Adrianna, Jayda, Karianne, Suraj, Tallon, and Vaughn; great grandchildren Brayden, Amaya, Reagan, Diego, and Owen; siblings Leann (Dean) Bill of Sheffield, IL, Roger Peach of Spring Valley, IL; brother-in-law Ron Elgin of Tampico, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Anita Elgin.
