Arnit James Padulla Jr.

Arnit James Padulla Jr, age 65, of Davenport, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Genesis Medical Center-East. Services will be held at 11:00 am. Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport. The family will greet friends the hour prior to service time. Burial with honors will be in the National Cemetery, Rock Island. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established later.

Arnit was born on January 5, 1957 in Clinton to Fydelia and Arnit Padulla Sr. He attended Camanche High School and enlisted in the U.S. Army where he was stationed with the 101^st Airborne and 1^st Infantry Division. After being honorably discharged Arnit was a truck driver over the road for over 40 years before retiring. He was united in marriage to Vicky Frett on October 26, 2019 in Winterset, IA.

Arnit was a craftsman who enjoyed working with his hands as well as painting.

Survivors include his wife, Vicky; step-children, Lori, Eugene, and Brad; 2 step-granddaughters, 3 sisters, and 1 brother.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Nicholas.
