Amber Leigh Roslyn DeLay

Funeral services celebrating the life of Amber DeLay, 27, of Davenport, will be held at Noon on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport.  Burial will follow in Davenport Memorial Park.  Visitation will be Wednesday from 11am until time of services at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family.

Ms. DeLay passed away Saturday March 23, 2024, in Peoria, following a lifelong battle with diabetes.

Amber Leigh Roslyn DeLay was born September 17, 1996, in Davenport, the daughter of Robert Hughes and Cheri DeLay.

Most recently she had worked for Los Portillos.

She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family, especially her children.

Those left to honor her memory include her mother Cheri DeLay of Davenport; daughter Romiyah and son Rosiyah Jones; brother Jon (Elizabeth) McKenzie of LeClaire; sisters Ashley DeLay, Alexis (Savannah) DeLay all of Davenport; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her father.
