Carrie was born on August 8, 1984 in Davenport, a daughter of David and Karen (Quick) Olson. She was a 2003 graduate of Assumption High School, attended Kirkwood Community College and later graduated from La’ James International College, Davenport.
Carrie worked in her family’s business, Dave’s Floor Trends, for the past five years.
Carrie was a woman with a big heart, she was very generous and giving. Her caring spirit shined bright with the love and care she gave to her aging grandparents. She cherished the time she was around her family, especially her two nephews, Ryan and Tyler, whom she adored. However, Carrie’s “child” was her beloved dog, Kolby Jack. She loved being outdoors, taking Kolby on walks, and an occasional game of tennis.
Carrie is survived by her parents, Dave and Karen Olson, a sister and brother-in-law, Jacklyn and Dominick Crisci; nephews, Ryan and Tyler Crisci; grandparents, Bill and Joan Quick, and Wanda Olson, all of Davenport; aunts and uncles: Vicki Stevenson and Charlie Armstrong, Bettendorf, Kathy Hawley, St. Louis, MO, Richard “Buddy” and Betty Olson, Davenport, Marcia and Dave Boeding, Princeton, IA, Anne Olson, Sandy Springs, GA, and Sharrie and Bob Conly, Buffalo, NY; her best friend, Amanda (Hilbert) Smith, Ohio, and numerous loving cousins, great aunts, great uncles and extended family.
Carrie was preceded in death by her grandfather, Duane Olson. The Olson family would like to thank the community for all the love and prayers they have shared these past trying months.
